Default Accel shafts?

Accel sprocket and pinion shafts: who made them? are they rebranded jims?

Is Accel a brand name or a style of sprocket? All I come up with are Vortex brand and Performance Links brand and a bunch of go-kart stuff.

accel was a major player and i have used their products. however, like all things, change does come and i have heard that their rep has fallen although i can not personally verify it since i am out of that market.
like all things, american costs are sometimes quite prohibitive and so things are sourced eleswhere. that is not necessarily a bad thing IF and that is a big IF, the company holds strict quality control. i have a few accel products on my 74ch, been in use for decades.

Nothing Accell has marketed recently is worth a crap. Their stuff used to be golden.
They dropped their lifetime warranty a long time ago, this is what made them popular.
Ted has been collecting brand names for quite some time, no surprise there.
No loss though as the brand no longer stands for what made it great.

kmul, that tells me the one you found is older stock and probably of high quality judging by the packaging "lifetime replacement warranty". probably should scoop that up!

Even though it says lifetime warranty they will not honor it.
