I've had better luck with FEDEX than UPS or USPS. USPS being the worst. Just sent a package FEDEX. We'll see if the luck continues.

Still haven't got the package I posted about here.

Having lived in Alaska for a goodly number of years the fastest and best was (is) USPS.... UPS and FedEx regularly screwed up, misplaced and damaged goods.

I've had problems with all three. Fedex delivered an envelope that had SATURDAY DELIVERY in bold black letters on bright yellow tape across the front at 10:30 on Monday morning. It contained a ticket for a flight that left Logan Airport at 8:00 AM (2-1/2 hours earlier).

Ups charged me a bundle to ship my exhaust to Jet Hot. Then, when it was half way there, they decided to charge me more. And I won't go into the story of how they screwed both me and the person receiving on shipping a part to Newfoundland.

As I said earlier, they all screw up; but the USPS has screwed up less and they're generally faster and cheaper than the other bandits in my experience.

USPS Priority mail is very reliable. It's handled the same as a first class letter. In other words, Priority mail gets expedited service. It's more expensive than Parcel Post, but it also does not go thru the bulk mail facilities, with the attendant delays & rough handling inherent in the mechanised handling of parcels, in a specific, usually remote from the regular mail stream, facility. I retired from the USPS after 33 years as a mailhandler. I know how those systems work. I always use Priority mail.
