saying that for peace of mind i will buy the FAG7200B...

i have done some search on sites for mechs engineers
maybe i'm wrong... but it seems to me that the type of bearing that Mo.Co use on Sporties is an deep grove radial ball bearing... and it seems it can take (and is designed for) either radial, than axial loads...

No shortage of idiots that are also mechs engineers...

If you get a 7200B compare it to the bearing you take out. Make sure you install it correctly. It's directional in regards to thrust.

If you think the original bearing is good enough just leave it there.

If they're both 7200B they're both axial thrust if that's what you're asking.

I bought FAG because I found a really good deal on bearings that were NOS.
I would have bought FAG or SKF.
