And a very good chance that either will flow enough. An engine can only suck in 'so much' fuel and air, and it's less than people think.

Tbh I changed filter back only because the one I put on may as well of not been there , the element was a waste of time and would of allowed all manner of crap through..

I had a set of LAF pipes I was originally putting on which is why I started messing but changed my mind and decided apart from the filter and slip ons going to keep it standard ..

Bit of an update, I managed to get bike out for a ride.. As stated earlier the gunson colour tune suggests a good burn. Bike starts on the button , idles fine and zero popping or farting when the throttle blipped etc..

Bike ran without issue although I noticed if I shut it off and started now and then it would backfire through exhaust , I nearly gave a woman a heart attack starting up at an ATM ..

Plugs look ever so slightly rich to me but not enough for me to worry about tbh .. The porcelain is discoloured but only half way round and sure they should be white ..

Wondering if the backfiring is the IMS needing backing off slightly

I will give it a few more outings and decide whether to go down a size on slow jet back to the 42 ..
