I installed my Father's Day gifts that I received early after a lot of begging and pleading: saddlebag support brackets and saddlebags. Then I went for a ride. I think my Sporty ran better than ever after that.

Today I changed the Oils and Filter. Used Valvoline Syn 20/50 Motorcycle oil and a STP Xtended Life filter S3614XL. Friday, If I am off, Will take to dealer for 5k service minus Fluids and Plugs.

Fired up the cushy Custom & rode over to the 'orchard', stopped off for a couple on the way home. It was a windy, chilly, nor-east wind, still a nice putt.

Left out 8 am for an all day ride with friends. We did the Ga. Mountain loop ride. ( Winding Stair Gap, Coopers Gap, Suches , Wolfpen Gap, 129 to 180 , Richard B Russell ) Love the twisties..
I got home a little after 6 pm. It was a great day of wind in my face and roaring engines and popping ears..

Did one of my favourite rides, left Thornton through Kirkham & Preston to Southport. A minor shower, not enough to stop & put on waterroofs at Preston & Tarleton. Bit of birdwatching at Marshside reserve then through the ainsdale sand hills along the coast road.Stop to check out the West Lodge & lion's gate at Ince Blundell Hall then on to Liverpool clubhouse for open night.
Derby Road closed for resurfacing & unable to get on Regent Road so follow difficult diversion. Top up bike & unable to get to clubhouse as road shut off. Eventually get there & chill out to music & a hot dog.
Back home in the twilight but no hunting owls tonight, another diversion through Southport & it rained in Preston, bike dirty from spray. Shoulder & upper arms & elbows quite painful tonight, around 120 miles

Rode 400+ Interstate miles yesterday, half in the rain. Pushed her hard 85-95mph, especially in the rain. So, I spent today washing all the road splash off of it and checking for any loose or broken parts. Oil level was the same as when I left, all is good! Tightened RF turn signal.

Had the 5K Service done on mine. Stayed for the Bike Show. Ran a Dynojet Dyno for HP and Trq readings. Showing 78HP and 78 Ft Lb Trq at Rear Wheel.
