Mine is clean and shiny.....I ride everyday it isn't raining, that is one reason it is easy to keep it clean and shiny…..I only ride about 45 minutes to an hour per day.....been retired 20 years now.....so I have plenty of time to attend to it. My cousin will get a nice bike when I no longer can ride.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it (especially if you don't know what you're doing). Most Sportster problems are owner-induced.
