While they were off I hit them with Mother's Mag Polish and a toothbrush. But they weren't too bad to begin with.

Really well done and simply beautiful to behold. Yes, stock is really nice in a world of bobber shite!!!!!
I'm going the same route with my 2001. Bone stock looking except for the engine which will be a 1250.
I have an ass load of custom parts that I'm going to sell like a +2" Moto Iron Springer, front damper shock kit, EMD ribbed side covers and a plethora of other custom parts all sitting in boxes since purchased new months ago. I'm going to sell off all of them.
I was going to put those parts on the bike but after spending months looking at it in stock form, I began to appreciate its true beauty. So aside from the engine it's going to remain stock.
Again, my compliments on your beautiful bike. It makes me want to go out a buy another Sportster!!!!! A 1995!!!!!!!

They are stock bars for that year oem 56081-82. Don't know the rise.
