Default Lug when starting off in first gear

I've noticed that sometimes my bike lugs in first gear. It happens right after I fully release the clutch lever, while the bike is accelerating. Sometimes I even hear a strange sound when it lugs, like something slaps inside the transmission. This lug is different each time. Sometimes I feel it very slightly, sometimes it shakes me like I've got hit in the rear tire from behind. It seems it depends on how aggressively I twist the throttle.

Also sometimes, but very rarely, when I shift from 3th to 2th, it makes a terrible sound which lasts for about 1/2 of second, then it slaps and continue running. Sounds terrifying, like when you touch a spinning propeller with a screwdriver.

I've did a detail inspection of primary chain tension and adjusted the clutch all by the book. Primary oil replaced a week ago. I'm running out of ideas...

Look for dust around the front pulley, could be the splines stripping.

That slapping might also be excess play in the primary chain?

Chain vertical free play is about 10-11 mm, measured when cold.

Sounds almost like the problem I'm noticing on my sons 2001.
