Thumbs up Interested in a group buy of Solo bags at wholesale?

Here's the deal:

A guy I have been buying from for about nine years got in touch with me. He is shutting down his US sales operation and moving to Pakistan to concentrate on production. I would like to help him and at the same time get the folks here a good deal.

Some customers had requested Solo bags and I had been asking around.Word got out that I was looking for Solo bags so he touched base. Long story short I can get these bags for wholesale which is $25 plus shipping and brokerage fees.
He cannot determine shipping costs until I let him know how many to ship.

If you are interested in taking part in this group buy chime in here. I'll find out the price and take advance orders.

Here are the details:

Description of Material used Outer Shell Construction 4 Layers of Pasted Materials

a) Top Layer of Synthetic Leather

b) Foam Sheet

c) Hard Plastic Sheet

d) Back raised fabric to give it a natural leather inside look

Metal Chromed Buckles, PVC Buckles, Chromed Buttons

It is made to attach to the swing arm with leather belts

. It measures 10" x 11.5" x 4" and comes as a single bag.

This bag is designed to work on the Right side or left unless there is a Right side or left side mounted license plate.

It also works on Harley Davidson Soft ails, Yamahas and Kawasaki

25 bucks + shipping? Count me in. That's a steal for any bike bag.

I might take a right and a left. I assume that they are side specific?

I don't want to be a party pooper but will these fit on a sportster?

If the bags were the flat bottom type I would definitely be in.

To clarify things, the Solo bags will be constructed as shown to the specifications stated. No mirror image bags.

When I received the first email he said the lefts out sell the rights 99:1 which is my experience. This led me to believe they have right and left hand bags.

When I received the specs as you can see they state that you can mount the bag on the right or left. which is true. However if you mount two they won't look right.

I was looking for mirror images for 2 different bikes. My wife's bike is a shaft drive on the left so wasn't sure if I could slide one on there.

Default Reorient the straps

They are what they are. It appears that the straps are installed by simply running them through slits. The other Solo bags I have seen are built like this. Cut new slits to reorient the straps. They will hang anyway you want.

I'm in. How soon until you can get one to test fit on a Sporty? I'm down for one anyway as I can figure it out.

Ok, subject to seeing one fitted on a sportster with passenger pegs, I will be in. I am in the UK so please add USPS to the cost for me.

Default No ETA at present.

No ETA at present. It works like this:

1. Determine how many we want
2. Using the information from 1. we get a shipping Quote
3. Collect money for the bags
4. Order bags
5. Manufacture bags
6. Arrange shipping and customs broker
7. Ship bags to Missouri
8. Trans ship them to you.

It sounds a little complicated but that is how you arrange to manufacture and import a shipment of bags. I've done it a few dozen times. It is vital to deal with trustworthy & knowledgeable people.
