Default Brake upgrade

Hi thanks all again for all your help so far. What front brake upgrades do you use on your bikes. is there any compatible brake calipers of other makes/ models of bike that fit a 2004 883c . thanks

I took a rubbermount 1/2" master cylinder and put it on my 2002 (with the 4-pot fixed caliper). Perfect ratio.

that's just an oversized rotor and adapter, you're still using the same caliper and pads,

I'd recommend doing the Brembro brake upgrade. it's the simplest most effective way to ensure quality two finger braking.

inspiration came from this thread.
