Default Air pressure suggestions for air shocks on sportster

I just installed Genuine Harley Davidson Touring Air Shocks Fits 09-16 Models 54662-09 was wondering how much air they hold and what’s the correct air pressure for solo and 2 up and how much air can they Hold without ruining them?

I run 3-5 PSI solo and 10-15 PSI two-up. (200 lb rider, 150 lb passenger) you typically want 1/3 shock travel sag when you sit on the bike.

I think they are 50 PSI max, but that would make a Sportster suspension rigid.

Air goes up VERY quickly if you use a compressor. I apply air very briefly, then each time I check with a tire gauge, it goes down a PSI or two until I have the pressure desired. That’s with both shocks fed by one line.

I've heard of some not putting any air in.

Mine are older, from pre 08 street glide, 13 inch. I use 0 solo and 15-20 2 up. I wouldn’t use a compressor, they go up fast with a tiny pump.
