Default Evo sporty valve spring question

I have a 98 883/1200 kit was installed by the previous owner it has Screamin eagle dual plugged heads which I believe are the same as lightning heads. The valve springs have been upgraded and I need to locate a new Titanium retainer I am unsure of the company that made them I will try to post pics to the thread they are much larger then a stock retainer

Victory are among the best Titanium retainers. They should have a retainer to fit your spring.

Whose valves are in it? The retainers need matched to the valves because there are multiple types of grooves.

The retainers need to be matched to the springs. The valve locks need to be matched to the valve and retainer. Often one retainer can be used with different locks for different valve sizes, but not always. Locks are offered with the various styles, groove, single bead, multiple bead, etc...

Also retainers (and) locks can had for different installed spring heights.

The Victory product is very good, and the retainers and locks match up very well together.

Ferrea also valves lists titanium retainers for EVO and Buell. The OP could check the Ferrea catalog for reference.

You said what I was thinking. haha Couldn't quite complete my thoughts this morning...

I haven't used the Victory stuff but I like Ferrea. For Harley stuff Manley and AV&V has been my go to. They offer titanium retainers (might be just for their springs).

http://www.manleyperformance.com/dl/...leyCatalog.pdf Page 4

AV&V offers them, but I'm not sure if they're specifically for their springs as well or not without doing some more research.
