Default Suggestions on no start

Bije fired up last week w 2 to 3 kicks about 4 5 times in a day..since then tried to kick it n no luck..put in the blue streak points n condensor...still have spark on my plugs n spark at the points..any suggestions

I checked to make sure gas is flowing through the line n it is as far as in the carb I wouldn't know where to start....I hear ya dint want to be digging in the vm38

There’s not much digging to be done in the vm38. Are you getting any signs of life from the engine at all - cough/wheeze/puff of smoke out of the carb - when you kick?

If I'm understanding correctly the bike started in 2-3 kicks consistently last week. Since you installed the new points now it won't start. Common sense says something is not right with the points. Must have .018 gap on both lobes and make sure timing is set correctly. The VM38 is mostly fool proof as long as the supply is good. Keep it simple:
Timing, spark, compression and fuel = go!

Yeah that's a simple carb...no sign of life at all but it happened w the other points in it as well I had one good day w it consistent starting then 2 days after tried again n nothing..then put in New points n still nothing..used matchbook as my gauge since I hear its close to 18

Yeah it happened w the other points as we had one good day of kicking it over..so hoping the blue streak points would fix it but still nothing.
