Here you go...

https://sportyparts.com/collections/...xlcr-left-pipe

They say they're sold out now, but they found a stash of the early high pipes after I thought I had missed out. Give them a call & good luck.

Default 1968 xlch

I've been working and collecting parts to put my 1968 XLCH together for a long time. Engine is completely rebuilt, top end, bottom end, transmission, etc.
Cases were damaged in the early 70's and professionally repaired. John Penner kr style hardtail, John's exhaust, and finned primary. Also have a 9 out of 10 black powder coated tin primary. 19" front & rear rims, with stainless Buchanan spokes. Plunger style seat, and horseshoe oil tank, early style front end, with newly chromed lowers, the list goes on. This is with a good title in my name. I need to sell this, but don't know value. I have a stupid amount of money in it and realize it will sell at a loss for me. Any ideas of it's value?

Pictures are worth a thousand words.

You never get the "full price" for an unfinished project.

Customizing bikes to your taste almost invariably lowers it's value.

By selling an unfinished bike that isn't 100% stock you reduce the size of available buyers. That affects the price a lot more than one might imagine.

Just being honest with you here.

You might get lucky and find someone with enough imagination to see the oportunity in front of them. But I can tell you from experience there's few out there like that.

At the moment your selling a collection of parts more than a motorcycle.

Is there no way you can complete it to the stage that it an be ridden ? That would minimize your loss.

You might actually do better selling t off as parts. Engine as one unit though.
