I'm not in love with the cobra, but it's heaps better than that couch of a seat!

Yes?? The transformation from my normal rider to cruising with my love saddens me a little.

Before

After

I have the le pera barebones.., definitely not enough seat to plant one very securely.

One of each...

Mustang Daytripper for bar-hop/day rides...I love the lines, it holds you in the seat when you go wfo, and is pretty darn comfy for a small seat

I also have a Mustang Vintage Wide jleft over from my 07' Roadster I had, for the road trips...(which I've still yet to do on the 48, since I have a Dyna setting right next to it).

When I was young and didn't have half a dozen bad disks in my back I liked the narrow seats that looked bad ass and rode like sitting on a brick.

Now I am older than dirt and riding hurts a lot more than it used to. Don't have a fat ass, but I like the wide comfortable seats and don't care so much what they look like. Have to adjust when you get old and busted up.

Got a wide Mustang touring seat now. It doesn't look too bad. It ain't a narrow, streamlined bad ass seat, but I can stand to ride it for a couple hundred miles without having to recover for a week after. I would say it is a compromise between what looks good and what is more comfortable. When you are young and invincible the bad ass looking seats on a hard tail frame are fine. When you got 50 or 60 years of sitting on a bike seats the more comfortable ones start looking a lot better to you.

Mine came with the Sundowner seat, and I'm just fine with that.

This model offers the widest passenger pillion of all the two-up seats.
My missus has girly curves, and this seat fits her the best.

I'm 60 next year with the usual aches & pains so it's comfort for me. 35 years ago I had the seat of my Triumph cut down in height & recovered with a diamond & button pattern. Looked bad ass & gave me a bad ass!

Yes, the 'bad-ass' looks best, but my money is on the 'fat-ass' seat for going any serious distance without severe butt fatigue.

The irony here is that I have nearly no ass, yet I need a fat-ass seat to keep my tail bone happy.
