Newer HD year more amperage Stator fit 2000 Model Year ?
I've researched and looked and called some companies.
Can anyone say they have seen, or have actually accomplished using a newer model year stator and rotor and or stock rotor to get more amperage for running more heated gear and accessories on a 2003 and lower model year ?
I am running a 2000, cases are split, getting crank rebuilt, and want to find out of a newer model year stator with more amperage can fit my case. And if would need to use new rotor. I have stock 883 gearing at the moment, but seen some of the rotors come with 34T instead of 35T engine sprocket, and would need to upgrade my engine belt sprocket to a 29T or 30T sprocket to get a lil taller gearing.
Has any one done this with stock HD parts ? Or have they just gone the Cycle Electric combo ?
Thank for any input.
Gearing graph for different gearing options with different sprocket/rotor teeth.

I have successfully used 2007 stator on my 2000 XL with 2003 (8 screws) rotor.
Also I have paired it with Cycle Electric 2007 regulator rectifier.
Only things that requires attention are the the stator screws that needs to be a low profile.

Thanks. Why not use the 07 Harley regulator ? You use your stock rotor with 35T engine sprocket or change to 34T engine sprocket ?
Thinking if can use 34T engine sprocket and 30T engine belt sprocket.
Would still get off the line quick and just a shy short of stock 2000 taller 1200 gearing .
