That's what you mean?

Very tempting

I'm too law-abiding. It IS tempting!

I tell this to people all the time.
Practice with both hands.
Your life could depend on it.

While I was in Vietnam at the S.E.Asian War Games, my chicken shit friends who didn't want to get drafted like me, joined the National Guard which required that they go down to S. Calif every year to sell NG mints and cookies for 6 weeks. Don't laugh, some of these guys fought in the battle of Berkeley. Anyway they would load up with gallon jugs of wine and slingshots and spend the 10 hour trip in a Duece and a half shooting out car windshields and getting shit faced. When they arrived they spent plenty of time starting large grass fires all over Camp Roberts. I was in awe of these guys.

When we went for a ride, we never openly carried firearms, but had little colt .25s or S&W Pocket .22 escorts in our back pockets. Most of the bars where we put in full shifts didn't want guns so it was all hush. A typical ride was ride down to Novato go to the Town Club, spend 5 hours drinking and then race all the way back to say Cotati where we'd have a few at the Tradewinds. That was a long ride, maybe 60 miles. In Calif in those days, there were no helmet laws so people could see that we were a problem if messed with so everyone left us alone. The Hells Angels were Headquartered in the Bay area and they were way too busy selling dope to do any riding. They were just a bunch of assholes who were little puppies until they had 20 or 30 pals then they became tough guys. All those Bozos did was make everyone on a motorcycle a potential problem. The cops were very good to us. They knew the score.

Every time I ride, I carry. Sometimes it's a M&P Shield, sometimes a CZ75B.
