I have not all dimensions yet,
the outer dia of the sleeve is dificult to measure with the innlet axle in there so vill do it after dismantling the gear box.
I have most dimensions ready though, but they may not be to accurate since I went out from a hub that's aftermarket when calculating the dept of the bearing.
I have the drawing at work, I'll se if I can post it tomorrow.

OK. Do you know if it is possible to check trap door bearing without taking the transmission out? Like to try if the shaft mover or something?

It should be just to check for wiggle, a little is normal,
then rotating and check for smoothness.
It's just a standard 6207 2Z

Just what I thought my self. This is the answer I was hoping to get. One more question for now if I'm not bothering you too much. In one thread someone suggested the NUP 1009 bearing to replace the original clutch basket bearing. This is a roller bearing which is supose to handle better and prevent wobbling. I was searching the net to find it and also call some local bearing supliers but with no success. The supliers eaven claimed that it doesn't exist.. do you know anything about this?

Calculating the sleeve:
First, find distance A from groove for lock-ring to the start of the hole in the trap-door

Second, find distance B from the seat for the lock-ring in the hub and to the far side of the bearing.
In the image I have draved the bearing a little inwards from the end of the hub just to make a point it is the bearing that matters.
However one should try to make it flush with the end.

The distance C is then (B + the thicknes of the washer under the circlip) - A

The distance 5.7mm is to make the sleeves protrution flush with the stator,
it can be made longer if needed.

Ø1 = 70.6 mm (2.780")

Ø2 = 62.0 mm make slight press fit for bearing 6908

Ø3 = 58 mm

Ø4 = 63.5 mm (2.5") make press fit into trap-door

.

New pictures can be found in posts# 206 - 207 - 208
