I not that impressed with the bottom end below 3300 rpm. With stock cams and that high of compression it seems like it should be at least 5 hp more? My experience with SE slip ons was about the same. I lost bottom end too.

I must say I like the torque of the V & H. But will a difference of 1-3 hp or ft/lbs really be that significant? I'd be making aesthetic decisions at this point, personally. Between those two, I like the look of the slash cuts over the straight shots. (You were wanted opinions like this, yes?)

In a side by side roll on 3 hp looks huge.

From the choices allowed in this poll I vote for V&H because of looks, and the fact that they work pretty good. I don't like 2:1, I guess you all know that by now. Anyone that says HP doesn't matter is lying to themselves.

Looks like you're runnin' just a bit lean. I wonder what would happen to those numbers if you shim the needle up one notch. I bet they'd improve a horse or 3...and improve the torque number...

the bike was set a little rich, so that when I got down to sea level, it'll be right on the money.

I'm not worried about a 3 hp at the MAX of the scale. when I'll roll it on, it'll be just about the same. with a little more torque..

Torque gets you going,
HP keeps you going.

A lot of roll on's start at about 50-60 mph. I'm just saying it looks a little weak down there for stock cams and high compression. Maybe about 5 HP.
