That’s good news about the cases.

I just ordered and received my Drag Specialties motor mounts from denniskirk.com. I also ordered some liquid polyurethane (medium hardness), which I will be adding to the mounts to stiffen them even more and hopefully prevent future sag.

Hope everything goes well.

I don't have an educated opinion on which mounts for replacement but we have a good bit of information in the Sportsterpedia on the mounts and things to look for when replacing.

Ended up going with some aftermarket mounts from JP cycles. Apparently the oem mounts are on backorder and don't know when they will be back in stock.

Right on! It sure makes sense to replace the sagging mounts while you have the motor out of the frame. You've been through a lot trying to get the stud issue worked out. I wish you the best of luck.
