Default Rear Sprocket for Belt

Hi all,

I want to keep a belt drive instead of converting to a chain drive, but are there any after market parts for the rear sprocket? Im about to pull the sprocket cover off and add a pulley cover up front, but was wondering if there was anything less ugly than the stock rear sprocket. Ive seen some bikes with gloss black ones, but I haven't seen anything for sale for a sporrster (09 Nightster) unless its a chain set up.

Has anyone ever painted their sprocket? Or would the constant friction make this a stupid idea.

I don't know how hot/warm the rear sprocket gets, but a heat resistant paint should be ok.
Or, you could put a chrome cover on it, factory or aftermarket. Maybe aftermarket would do painted also?

The second link has 4 pages of pulley covers , front and rear, in colour also.
Most are '04-'13.
There must be loads of aftermarket ones available stateside.
