the 2 bolts that hold the alarm bracket are they metric or imperial,i have a 07 883 efi

They're imperial: 10-16 × ⅝" Torx pan head.

no the ones that are on the braket that goes into the engine,they have allen bolt heads

It looks to me like the security siren housing clips to the rear master cylinder bracket. That bracket is attached by three screws: two are 5/16" - 18 UNC × 1", and the other is 5/16" - 18 UNC × ⅝".

I strongly recommend getting a vernier calliper (a very cheap one will do for this) and a thread gauge, so that you can identify threads for yourself.
