Mustang seat w/ backrest & AirHawk Cruiser R i think I bought the Large. I'm 6'1", 220lbs, prior to this combo, I was so sore the next day after a 10hr ride now it's easy peazy, so enjoyable & comfortable. The back rest is SOOO freaking important & never knew it until I tried it. That air bag just lays on top of your seat, take most of the air out, it's really amazing the difference it makes, I wouldn't have believed it until I tried it. I have arthritis in my back, this combo did the trick along w/ forward controls & 4" riser w/ 10" bars so I can lean back & relax, so compfortable.

Voted other. Nothing subs a fine tuned body. I have no seat preferences.

I have been looking at seats and have mid controls. Any input there?

I like the tallboy seat. I haven't tried anything else, but it looked like the best option to keep mid controls and still have enough room. It feels maybe a little softer than I would prefer, but I haven't taken any long trips yet to really find out. The extra room is really appreciated.

+1 I went through a similar sequence of events on my ‘98 XLH. When I got my ‘15 CP, I rode it home and installed a Mustang Wide Solo. On both bikes, the Mustang seats made/make multiple 900-mile (1,450km) days doable.
