[QUOTE=SHAKY DAVE;5780488]put the module almost straight up and down now tilt the front up about a 1/4 inch.that will give you a great start.should fire there and move the module a small amount down and it should get to the sweet spot.theres plenty of folks on here(mick)that will get you goin.got it on my street stroker '83 and my drag race '85.remember to set the wires for the front and rear cylinders on the coil, blue is for front, pink for rear.use the plug wires that came with it,suppresion wires.set plug gap at .040.rock and roll

that would make a big difference on a carb that had an accelerator pump, but a vm-38 doesn't have one. cracking the throttle open cancels the vacuum signal to the enrichener circuit (when the lever is down) which will reduce the amount of fuel it can feed the engine.

push that choke down.as soon as it starts choke back up,normal.let it warm up bare left hand on the cylinders and go ride that sucker.idle may go up but adjust it stopped after you haul ass around the neighborhood.go thru the start procedure,no need to put in choke for starts after its warmed up. or you go to the bar, have a couple of beers go to leave,no choke.were getting close bud
