Default Stainless Steel Drag Pipes?

Was curious if anyone has run stainless drag pipes on an ironhead. I've been having issues finding a set to buy. All the stainless pipes are 2-1. Making them myself isnt really an option at this point because my tig welding skills arent quite there yet, but I'm working on it. Also, any downsides to it? Or general opinions?

yep, iron exh are hard to find. as far as welding, any muffler shop with the right equipment can mandrel bent a set. also of note, aluminum conduit can be used also.

I've got stainless steel exhaust on my '79 that the PO built. I think the stainless look is pretty cool. I'm not sure of any downsides. They have not discolored and they polish up nice with some compound and elbow grease or a buffer. As mentioned, there really aren't too many aftermarket exhaust options available for these bikes and I've never seen a stainless aftermarket setup before.

Here’s how the stainless looks in it’s natural state (also note the stainless exhaust on the other bike which the PO of my bike also built):

Here’s how it looks polished up some:
