As I posted in the "Rigid EVO Oil Check Ball & Spring" thread:

I bought the last two of them from Harley-Davidson World in Oklahoma City.
I bought another two from Lancaster Harley-Davidson (Texter's Cycles Inc.) in Willow Street, Pennsylvania.

Sorry missed that post. Well done. So they can be found!
You probably have netted a decent percentage of the worlds
supply of #26856-82s.

I bought from both dealers as I didn't know at the time whether either dealer would actually come through. Both did, so now I have extras. When I removed the original (19 years old), it looked and felt fine, but I replaced it anyway.

Good to know. Mine was starting to leak. I couldn't find a new HD valve at the time, so I fitted an ET PVC valve. Not cheap but it seems to work well.

Holy macs and cheeses ! Just found a 40110-89 86-90 belt conversion kit minus the u-bolt. 70% off !! Has the instructions from Harley. Hoo-ha!! Had already spent for a belt and chrome upper belt guard, this one includes black belt guard as well as lower debris guard and every other piece involved except u-bolt for holding debris guard. Instruction for counterboring something? is included.

Hippysmack if you read this maybe you would like to include harley instruction page for this in sportsterpedia .. I also have Harley Bulletin for early 4-speed .536 gears including back-cutting instructions .. even Aaron did not recall those were available. Might be a good add too.

Congratulations on the find!

And yes, I would like to include those items in the Sportsterpedia.
The more hard to find these items become, the more important it is catalog them for future use / information for others.
And thank you.
