Default Did the IH have a neutral indicator light?

My bike came to me with the dash and signal lights cut off. I am in the final stages of getting it 100% back together including the proper indicators. I purchased LED replacements to fit the 3 holes in my gauge mount for Hi-Beam, Neutral, and Oil Pressure. I glanced at my wire diagram and noticed that there is not a neutral indicator light mentioned. Can anyone verify that the Late 1984 model sold without one? I don't need an indicator to know I'm in neutral, I just want to have it there if it was supposed to have one from the factory.

Thanks!

No, not on Ironheads.

I've read that neutral lights on Sportsters first appeared in 1986, but I can't personally confirm that.

According to the wiring diagrams, it was '91 when they first appeared.

How would anyone know what gear they are in, including neutral, without a gear indicator ?

I mean, like, you'd have to check Facebook to see what gear your in.

Yeah, the blue is Hi-Beam, Red is oil and Green is generator

All I know is that on my 1976 XLH, it is sometimes a challenge to even find neutral.

On Ironheads I learned to switch to neutral just before a complete stand still. Always worked

Hey, my rubbermount 2005 doesn't have one either. Well not for the past few years anyway.
