cylinder removal in bike?
Might be a dumb question but I was wondering if it is possible to remove and reinstall the cylinders with the engine still in the bike. Or would it be easier to just pull the damn engine? Measuring it out it looks like it be a tight fit. Just trying to get a game plan together before jumping into the project.

Tons of room. Considering how much of the top end is gone before you even get to the cylinders, it’s not even close to being tight to pull the cylinders themselves.

By the time you get to the cylinders, it's no problem.
Heads on up though . . . Valve cover parts and heads.
Front one is easy.
Rear one takes a little fumbling:
As you lift it a little, turn it clock-wise about 30 degrees then pull it out that way.
Reverse to reinstall.
I also cut the zip tie holding the wiring harness to make a little more room.
That back left allen bolt . . .
