Just wanted to give my 2 cents. You say it was running and it quit when the kickstand was dropped. Does this bike have a kill switch on the kickstand?

Well, uncle bought the ultima single fire kit.

Replaced the accelerator diaphragm and have good gas coming out of the accelerator jet.

We have good at the plugs. It bit the hell out of my buddy lol.

Bike not starting but possibly due to timing and I wasn't positive about the voes purple wire. I guess I just need to swap spots or splice in the original purple wire and leave the black wire in as well. I just assumed the black wire went from the old icm harness straight to the connectors for the voes. Maybe it actually grounds somewhere.

The VIOLET wire from the Ultima Ignition Module should go to the VOES - Only ONE WIRE is connected to the VOES. When active (during idle & cruising) the VOES will ground that wire to signal the Ultima to use the more advanced curve.

The VOES will not prevent the engine from starting.

Make sure you have installed the Ultima Ignition Module in the correct position.

Compression, fuel & spark - Make sure you have all three...

So quick question... When you say there's only one wire connected to the voes, the voes originally has 2 wires that go into a connector. This is what confused me. Does the violet from the ultima replace the purple/white wire. Origi Ally there is a purple/white and grey possibly black wire.

You're right - Two wires at the connector - Only one wire from the Ignition Module to the VOES - The other wire at the VOES goes to ground.

Sorry for the confusion. Yes, VIOLET wire of the Ultima connects to the harness VIOLET/White to reach the VOES.

At the VOES, both wires are BLACK because it is simply a vacuum switch. It doesn't really matter which BLACK wire is ground and which is to the Ignition Module. But keeping things as stock as possible will help in the future.

I just updated the Sportsterpedia section about the Ultima with some wiring diagrams:
