Great build by Jorgen. But it seems to me it’s a 5 speed basket with Bandit machine works clutch, got nothing to do with Kawasaki imho. Or I must have missed it. It’s a lot of reading

Thanks for the link. That good be a possibility. Although I don’t have the machinery to do this. Maybe find some machine shop to do some of the work. It doesn’t look to difficult , can do most of it myself.

I’m going for the Kawasaki conversion already bought a KZ clutch of EBay

The stock basket looks like a really crappy pot-metal casting. Looks like saw marks around the perimeter to cleanup the casting I am guessing.

Wonder if it would be too large for a swiss turning rig, it would be fairly expensive to machine from solid steel
Both those options would require a production qty to even think about.

So I got the Kawa basket on but the inner hub of the Scorpion clutch is toast. It fell into the new SKF bearing I put in the basket instead of have to press it in.
It wobbles like mad on the splines , the splines look really worn in innerhub at the point where the splines stop on countershaft.
So it need some more work. Like the Harton fix. And a new clutch, as I can’t seem to find a Barnett Scorpion innerhub as sold single? Ouch.
