Tried a few things myself, wasn’t happy with my abilities. Don’t want to farm this out. So my safest bet is a decent set of clamps bolted directly to the top of the tree. Offset a bit to put them forward.

Discussion finally came this week during thanksgiving evening drinking. Haha
If the boy is going to run the Buell blast next year, get an 883 of his own, run my long bike or my street bike.

My street bike is a definite “NO” he can try that in a few years. Probably find a 90’s Xl somewhere and give it a 1250, 70ish hp and run it or run my long bike. Maybe de-tuned a bit.

Any thoughts from you guys? Do’s and don’ts?

Nervous to get him on my long bike. Not that I don’t trust him. Just not sure if we should go that route with him just yet. No sense in putting the cart ahead of the horse. But, also, when do you cut a rider Loose to give it a shot. Last thing I want to see is an accident I could have prevented.

Basic 1250, stock small fin 1200 heads, N4 cams. If you put an arm on a bike that will go decent enough to learn but not be enough to go off the rails more than any other bike

How about that with 883 heads that we have, n6 cams that were donated by an outstanding member here?

I have a 6”-10” arm that will bolt on with a tuber wheel!
