I believe a 99 1200 xlh has D cams.

I'm not sure how to tell without measuring

An XL1200 of that year came with "D" cams, marked 1D, 2D, 3D, 4D.

An XL1200S of that year came with "W" cams, marked 1W. 2W, 3W, 4W
