Default Crash-Bars

Just had a second set of crashbars made, this set for the Roadster.
Cannot believe there are no pictures of those crashbars.

Well, these are on the 48. The Roadster has chrome in front, probably black in the back. Unless I can nickle plate them cheaply.

Thanks.
It took a while to get the picture posted but some of us Sporty types try not to rush quality. Took 3 years to decide on the color. Only a year to get the second set of bars fabbed.
I really like crash bars, hope they are never needed and work as designed.

What rear fender. Original Fat boy or after market? I'm putting an older Heritage Fender on my next build. With the Tombstone light and bullitt light bar.

A stock fatboy fender. Had to pick through the years and models to get the one that I liked. Some are too narrow and some are too wide, some flabby, took a while but worth the trouble. Then just do a Fleabay search with the desired part number and a NOS or used fender will pop up. Be picky, lots of expensive junk out there. The corresponding front fender fit nicely under the 48 steering brace..

I have a few Heritage fenders on the shelf. All of them are the mid to late ninties. Basically the same width of the rubbers.

Looking good!
Curiously, I have been thinking of the same thing lately, almost bought the sliders by Bungking, then thought of falling under a protruding stick in the event of a crash...
Any chance of having the dimensions of your crash bars published here for us to copy?

Bought a set of bars from off a bagger that looked close.
Brought them to a welder. He did the rest. Then he made a second set.
Suggest you use some good materials, competent welder.
