Question Petcock leaking

Howdy all, I just got my hammer 1250 kit all buttoned up. As well as the kit I put a Mikuni hsr42 on my bike. After my two mile heat cycle ride I noticed my stock vacuum fuel shut off was leaking from the diaphragm area. I am curious if anyone else has had this problem? I plan on eliminating the vacuum operated Petcock. I will be running the VOES directly to the carb. Any suggestions on a particular Petcock? I did search the forum and didn't find my particular problem. Thanks in advance, this forum ROCKS!!

I had 3 out 4 screws fall out on me in the middle of a ride back from Laconia one year. I had to use zip ties to hold it together until I got home. Golan and pingel are to the 2 favorite petcocks for everyone on the forum. Golan has a nice click loco feature that clicks when your on each setting which is a little bit nicer than having to push the lever until you think your there.

I installed an Accel high flow petcock last winter, it has a 360 degree adjustable outlet.

You can't go wrong with either Pingel or Golan but, I prefer Golan because of its "click" feature. Excellent quality and just plain works.
