I nod to my friend Pat for the idea on this cheap air cleaner cover:

5 1/2" circular saw blade = $7 + some paint and primer and a bolt all of which I already had.

Finished Product (AN Big Sucker Stage 1):

Sorry I missed your question. Someone on eBay was selling plain steel covers they cut for the Big Sucker. I think it was about $8. I also got the skull paint template on eBay. From there I went to Home Depot and bought black and white textured spray paint. The whole thing cost less than $25.
I finally got around to installing a Big Sucker on my Fat Bob so I could reuse that cover. I missed my Skully friend!

I run the big sucker, and my backplate is indeed aluminum, and have had no problem with it what so ever and it has been on about a year, I love it runs great, and i seem to get a deeper sound from my exhaust(might just be me though) and ran doesn't bother it runs like a champ, and I run it with no cover, kind of dig the raw look.

I keep hearing conflicting opinions on if you need to get your bike serviced if you change the stock AC. Anybody got something to say about this?
I am running a 2010 Iron.
thanks
