Absolutely no point reporting it to the police here, a Sportster Sickness member was taken out by a Honda Civic and crashed, reported a partial, none standard, plate number to police who did nothing, the sickness group quickly identified the car and driver, when given this information the police wanted to investigate how the car and driver were found, they never even spoke to the driver. If I had 2nd amendment rights I would be in jail right now.

I had a large van creep up close enough to brush against me while waiting to turn right at a T junction. He tried edging me out into oncoming traffic but I got away.He then cut up several cars to swerve in front of me & slam the brakes on & drive the wrong side of the road to escape down a side street. I got the registration & it was a plate from a Peugot moped, never heard anything from Police but had a few reports of it being bike thieves
Also a member of Sportster Sickness and remember the incident with the Honda

I see. Well, next time take matters into your own hands then. Not suggesting anything...

The bloke would not get out of the car, if I had attacked him in the car I would be in jail, if he had got out I would be able to say "self defence".

Glamzon, that sounds nasty, glad you were OK.

A while back I cheerfully came round a corner to see a fallen branch blocking the oncoming lane. No threat to me so I pressed on. However a tradesmen's ute coming in the opposite direction applied the First Commandment of Australian Motoring* & swerved out into my lane right at me. I couldn't quite miss him, but fortunately we nearly passed & the feeler peg on my bike scraped a bloody long gash down the side of his vehicle. I stopped, he didn't. I reported it to police. The copper was very helpful but said that with no damage reported & me unable to identify the other driver there was nothing they could do.

*First Commandment..
"Thou shalt not be under any obligation to slow down for any blockage or inconvenience whatsoever."

Bored now, put this on Sportster Sickness UK. There's a large south east crew & someone may have come across this wanker.
