Thumbs up Fix My Hog

Got it yesterday and watched a little bit of it and scanned through the the entire set...I have to say, this is probably the best idea anyone has ever come up with. The quality is superb and he explains everything. So if you're new the bike scene like me and have never worked on a motorcycle, this is a must buy...so get yours and enjoy!!!

The dvd covers maintenance. And like the guy in the dvd recommends, you should have the maintenance manual to go along with the dvd's.

it doesn't cover changing out the clutch (just how to adjust) and no head work.

its a "basic" maintenance DVD, that really helps! The service manual is the key to making the DVD even that much better. For someone who's never changed the oil, or primary on a motorcycle, or adjusted throttle or clutch cables it pays for its self the first time you watch it and put it to use. same with the service manual.

Its like watching your dad, work on the car when you were a boy... learning how to do it RIGHT the first time, and how to save your cash by doing it yourself!

Default Fix My Hog

Agreed, Best money I ever spent. I'm a newbie and have never once had to take my bike in for maintenance. This is a must have for new & experienced riders.

I been e-mailing Dennis about putting a full version DVD for the sportsters, like he has with other HD products. he told me they intend to put one out for the big twin next and other HD products as well as other types of bikes. it seem to me he has no intress to put a full verision out for the sportster.
I for one feel 2nd rate to fix my hog DVD's
that's my opinion.
