The factory Service Manual is expensive, but it's the best service manual I've ever used, and worth every cent, to me. It really beats the snot out of any Clymer, Chilton or Haynes manual I've ever used.

+1

Worth every penny (but there are still some typos you have to watch out for. )

I agree 100% I will also suggest Cyclepedia as a supplement as it has alternative photos that are a big help

On the US H-D site you can view the Owner's Manual, Parts Catalogs, Quick Start Guides (Handlebar Fitment Guide and Handlebar Installation Requirements), and the wiring diagrams from the service manual.

You have to enter your bike's VIN.

You can download the Handlebar Fitment Guide and, for some years, a catalogue of touch up paints, but not the others. You can print them. 1981 to present bikes only. I could get the documents for the '05 I had and for the '15 I have now.

For my 2007 Sporty (the yellow one) I just ordered the parts to install the aux fuel tank for testing purposes.

A 1/4" female NPT bulkhead fitting that I will mount on the bottom of the tank
A 1/4" male NPT - 1/4" barbed elbow to attach the fuel line

And I added a Mustang Vintage Touring seat with a backrest
