It's really sad that Airtech conducts business on this level ....
(We got your $715 ... You got our POS tank, it is what it is... Make it work)

I trusted them with what they said about how well they made that tank. They have betrayed that trust..!!
I have been lied to ....... It's nothing like I was lead to believe it was....!!!

Very far from "PLUG & PLAY" ....

One more photo of what I'm having to deal with...

Those Alum weld-in Russell bungs are for a inner tank that I'm having to make .... (BTY.. Had to send them back cause I used the Airtech tank to get the size... Didn't have my tank at the shop to look to see if they was the right size... Just another lick they got in..)
Could have used my tank for the top shell .... Did not have a need at all for the Airtech tank...

I wasn't wanting to build a tank... That's the whole reason I laid out the cash for the Airtech....

How come you didn't push the issue of the return?

They are so far from what they supposedly claim the product is I'd think you could have started with a CC dispute if they refused a return.

I wanted to return it when I first sit it on the bike and seen that it was far from fitting...

Called .... Got a song and dance about how well it was made...

Ok, alright they think it's made well, but it still don't fit...!!

I betca I called at least 10 times... Only once did they call me back....
All my e-mails went nowhere ... Never got one e-mail back from them...
Don't think a D-9 Cat could have pushed any harder than I did...

These Guys was hoping that I went away, the last time I talked with them they hung up the phone on me ... Kinda like "Go away Son, ya bother me.."

Here's a good one..... I'm a dealer for Airtech....
If this tank was for one of my clients, instead of my own scooter, I wonder if it would have been any different ...

I no longer endorse their products..... Imagine that..??

Seriously you were a dealer and they treated you like that? What were the payment terms?

I paid by my company CC....

Yes I am a dealer for them.... (Or was, not anymore)

Let's look at this from the standpoint of I was getting this item for a client...

It came in.... I take it out of the box to make sure there was no shipping damage..

Hand it over to him, being he said he was going to install it...

Two days later he brings it back saying "IT DON'T FIT"
Not only does he say that, but also tells me it has the wrong size bungs and no vent screw thread... All the seams will need to be work... Got a bat-wing sticking up at the front of the tank ..... He wants his money back....

Ok... I tell him to calm his ass down...
Bring me the bike and let me try to fit the tank...

Here's where it would get real...!!!

I also see all the problems this tank has with the fit... The bottom was glassed in to damn low and the only cure would be to cut it out and glass it back in higher up in the tank....

Now I tell him that would be about another $700 for me to do all that work which I most likely be cutting myself short on the $$ cause all the seams would require glass work and the bat-wing too, Not to mention the bungs and making up a threaded insert for the tank vent...

He don't want to pay another $700 for a tank that should have came as advertised....

Ok .... I can relate to his point, so I give him back his money....

Now I got a pretty fair amount of cash and a bunch of dead time that I put in trying to mount a tank that won't mount up....

I call Airtech and tell them that my client is not a Happy Camper with their product and I refunded his money back to him....

Then they tell me ... Sorry Buddy.... Your on your own, we don't refund money for our sorry ass work....
