We've got snow some part of the year and in the last few years they have cracked down on ATV/sled riders and drinking. THey got trail enforcers that are stopping everyone.

As for the bikes we have a .05 you loose you license for a week on the spot and .08 you are charged with DUI and can loose it for two years.

I've never taken a drink so I don't know that appeal but I am prescribed meds from a car accident and when I ride I don't take anything or the bare minimum to make it possible to ride. Funny thing is that since I've been riding my HD my back and neck have gotten alot better and I ride full rigid.

Back to the drink and ride....if I know someone has had some I will call the people who need to know...I don't care who thinks this is wrong but if that rider/driver kills your kid or my kid then it's too late......

This reminds me- when I was four or five, I remember having a major crisis one day riding in the car with my dad. He was drinking a Pepsi (in a glass bottle, miss those) and driving. I was very upset that he was drinking and driving!

I never ride when I drink. I think about my family. Also it is great if you have friends who can stop you.

I used to have the motto "never have any more drinks than you have wheels to get home on". That changed after watching a stupid act during a bike games, a gal got dumped off the back (no helmet) hitting a rock and is now quad... no more than 20mph. Zero now

Did it when young but 1 beer max. As I got older my desire & tolerance for alcohol decreased massively.Glass of wine with a meal bottle of beer once or twice a month is my intake now. Dad was an alcoholic & Mum was a heavy drinker also

Until I moved last year, I was around the corner from the local water hole. So even if I rode the bike, I could walk home if too much drinking. I usually pace for 1 an hour. Now only a drink maybe two if I'll be a while when out to eat, maybe, usually just water.

Mostly just drink at home and stay home if I want to get a "buzz". Wasn't the case in the old days, I have been lucky.

My dad and mom never drank alcoholic beverages when we were kids. My mom will occasionally have a glass of wine now.
