Made it home safe and sound, it was great hanging out with everyone today,
Happy birthday Crusty,
The only pic I took is of my burger, it wasn't the big one, but it was good. If you want to check out the Thurman Cafe, the food is good, but don't be in a hurry.

Default An Ohio Meet 'N' Eat

I managed to get the day off after all, so I got to go to the meet and eat. Just some random pics of us waiting to get in and a pic of one of the burgers at the Thurman Cafe. That is not the biggest one they have either. The place is small and crowded so we had to wait a while, then it took a while to get our food but it was pretty good. Some how I forgot to get a good pic of the birthday boy. It was great to to see you guys again (Brian and Laura, Crusty, Gravydog) and to meet some new friends (Roy and Jcolleyoh) thanks for coming.

Laura & I made it home safe. Food was good, service, not so much. 2 hours from checking in with the hostess, to food on the table is a bit long. The excellence of our dinner companions made up for it, tho. Happy birthday, John. 7 Sporties for one meet-n-eat. Not bad.

Yes, was fun day. Burgers weren't bad but not what they are praised to be. I think everybody wanted them medium but agreed they were well done. Already talk of trying Johnnies Tavern on Trabue Rd. next time, also known for good burgers but especially their cold beer. Throughout my lifetime I'd have to agree the coldest in Columbus, Ohio!
