Thumbs up SUPER-Narrow 12" ape hanger handlebars from Lick's

SUPER-Narrow 12" ape hanger handlebars from LicksCycles.com $85

Installed on my XL1200N, internal wiring, chrome (on black bike). Very happy with the comfort, look, feel, and positive remarks all around. Riding through tight spots in traffic with confidence - since these bars are only 28" end to end. They have a 12" rise and a comfortable 6" pullback. Dimpled for easy installation. The owner of Lick's told me I got the one and only unit (at the time) since I bought the prototype. So I feel it's my duty to report my positive experience. If you like these and are buying a new sportster, get your dealership to quickly become a Lick's dealer and put these and a sportster solo side bag $200 (also Lick's exclusive) into your financing package. Otherwise, just call lick's. The Super-Narrow Ape Hangers (despite what it says on their website) should be available by now. I have pics if anyone wants to see em installed.

Looks good ... but I don't really see any difference between those and regular narrow 12" apes.

they look similar shape/style when viewed on their own....but....the sn's are 2" minimum narrower end to end than the standard licks narrow...28"...and the base is also.....the standards are by now means wide...as they are 30"...much narrower than any traditional ape before these...but the sn's are for those who truly wanna tighten up the front end as narrow as possible.....

Believe me, I combed the www thoroughly and finally found what I needed at Lick's. The perfect handle bar, the perfect side bag and the perfect amount of help/customer service. Well, the side bag WAS perfect....for about 2 weeks. Our pit bull Lucy, normally very well behaved, could not resist. It's chewed up and I'm REALLY upset about it. $200!!

Default apes and cables

I had the dealership do it and I dont remember any of the details (length of cables, etc). I traded the Sporty in. It's FOR SALE at the Glendale Harley dealership here in So Cal. Call them up and ask them about it. I'm sure they'll tell you about the cables. It's the only Nightster with apes that they have for sale. best of luck to you
