Default wheel swap

anyone know if the spoked wheels from an FXST softail standard will fit a 2005 883?
!8 rear and 21 front. some for sale at a good price - would love an easy swap for my 13 spoke mags.
Fingers crossed!
So, they are off 2016 bike. 25mm axle holes

Anything _CAN_ be made to work - but clearances are an issue for any changes... Especially if you're changing wheel/tire diameters...

Good Luck...

I'm not sure if it will answer your particular questions, but here's the Sportsterpedia section on axles, wheels & tires:

I think your rear is 1" and the front 3/4", so with a bit of luck just a bearing change.

Thanks Harley 506!
That's what I'm thinking. bearing with smaller id.
I've taken lots of measurements. could be a spacer made.
See how we go.

Also try a search for “ Softail wheel “ in the google search box below on this page. Sometimes the thread comes up as archive, but there will be link to click for the full thread.
