Default My 1250 to 1275 build

So after 3 years of riding the 1250 and about 20000 miles. I have ordered a 1275 120 hp kit from Hammer. I have a few more weeks until I get my parts but started my tear down last weekend. So here comes my pictures from that.
Front head looks fine just looks like I have some oil leaking past the seal on the intake.
Rear head looks in good shape.
cam case looks good and the bushings are intact.

Piston seem to be in very good order. I’ll pull the cylinders when my parts show up.

Primary still looks brand new opened it up to install a BDL clutch and a new encapsulated alternator rotor and a chain tensioner.

I’m running the 560 in the 1250 and going with 600 for the 1275

The 1275 pistons from hammer and the BFH head work. The old are the 30* pistons with the crush porting.

No , I am going to pick up another 883 and install the 1250 kit on it. I may send the heads out for the sledgehammer porting . it depends on how the wife handles it. She doesn’t know it yet but I’m building the second bike for her.

Yes I agree I never got the 45 tuned in properly. I only had it on the bike for maybe 200 miles before life started happening and just didn’t get back to it .
