Default Paint Question

Hello, new here but not new to HD's and XL's. I searched but could not find any info on XLH's oil tank color...oem ''Gloss Black'', Satin Black , Semi Gloss or Flat or,,,? I'm restoring a 70H and it appears from what i can find a gloss black but most everything today is base coat / clear coat...looks like that would be tooo shiny... would appreciate your input and opinions.
Thanks,
Bill

Oil tanks are gloss black. I used a single stage paint, with catalyst, but no clear coat needed. I had a NOS '78 Anniversary Edition tank still in the factory box and it was also gloss black under the gold decal.
