No No
The stock dampener plate
I replaced it with the Alto
I did feel the Alto was slipping on the dyno at 111 hp running the stock 1200 spring so I tore it down and measured all the plates, added a Barnett spring and pressure plate.

Ah I see, I had somehow gotten the thought that you just blew your clutch, it's good to know you are not down with a blown clutch

I just got done replacing my clutch pack with the BDL hi per Kevlar extra plate kit, had to make my own homemade spring compressor because the one I ordered is not scheduled to arrive until August. The dampener plate had come apart as expected but the damage was not too bad, I could get the BDL +15% spring in with my homemade compressor because the cross bar on it was bending before it compressed enough to get the retaining ring in so I have the stock spring in for now until I get the good compressor. took a test ride and it all seems good, hopefully now it will hold it's adjustment and once I get the +15% spring in I should be good to for whichever conversion I do (HRHS1250 with Andrews N4 or Hammer 1275 with their 560 cam) I still have not made my mind up yet on that.

Good to hear you got to it in time to prevent major damage - It's always best to shut it down when you hear or feel something radically different than normal - Diagnosing the problem instead of making it worse can save you big dollars sometimes...

Ride On.....
