I thought better of putting any sealer in and just put the umbrellas in. I didn't remove the mesh tho but one was loose when I pulled it from sucking air in any way and they can't fall all the way out. I need to get a filter for the end of my breather hose yet but for now I just ran another piece of hose back and off the right side.

Just about done. Got the exhaust and brake pedal back on. Motor mount bolts in. I believe just the carb and fuel tank is all that's left. And seat last of course. Should get oil in and fired up yet tonight. If it werent for my numerouse smoke and soda breaks I'd be done. Taking my time tho. Do it right the first time. Damn rocker cover gaskets were a bitch to keep in there straight. Lose their shape.

Good news!
Take your time though.
Do a mental checklist before firing her up.
Hoses, clamps tight, everything torqued... gas,,OIL
Pull the oil cap and verify oil is returning when you first fire it up.
If not, shut her down and re-prime the pump.

Mission accomplished. I'll do a breather/oil pump upgrade thread tomorrow with pics. I noticed right away it runs way better. Idle is smoother and higher. In fact I had to turn it down. When I first started it with the choke out it idled way faster than it used to.
I just idled it tonight till it got warmed up good. Checked the oil and it was warm so I know it's returning. Almost no bubbles.
I'll take it for a nice ride tomorrow and see now but does but initial impressions are quite good.
Time to clean up my mess, eat and shower. Just took my assistant for a walk.

I love it when a plan comes together.
Fingers crossed on the Krankvent.

It pulses but I can't feel any kind of suction in between pulses. So far, it appears to be doing what it's suppose to. May be my imagination but the top end seems quieter.
I'll be concentrating on any noticeable changes up top, positive or negative, on the ride tomorrow.
