Default Cut harness Rectifier gd id help plz

I bought a 07 recently with a cut up harness, but did get the rectifier with the bike, but no female plug that goes to the batt and gd. Can anyone tell me which wire goes to gd? I have the the stater plugs intact so no issues there, i just don’t have the electrical part of the shop manual to help me id the gd/power output. They are a row of 4 vertical so can to described as 1234 with 1 at the top. Thx

There are two connectors:
46 is the two black wires to the stator.
77 is the black wire to harness ground and red wire goes to the load side of the maxi fuse.

Does that help?

The two regulator connectors are in the front below the oil filter.

There is a 4-pin connector under the fuel tank which is a lighting connector with orange/white, white, yellow and black wires.

Every wire (4) that comes out of the rec unit is black, i have no harness so there is no red wire anywhere. Sportster pedia does not help with anything but what plugs in to what. Wiring from scratch. I guess i need to get out the volt meter and run it while i look for some voltage. Thx anyway guys.

In post one you stated that the stator connections are intact, correct? If the factory connector is there it should be labeled 1 and 2. Since it is AC it does not matter which is 1 and which is 2.

If the other connector (DC) is present it should be labeled + and -. If there is no connector half on the rectifier, then advise further.

For the two DC wires on the regulator, the negative should read close to zero ohms from that lead to the case.

Yes the stator set was plug and play because the male and female were intact, and everything checks out per testing procedures. The wires to battery and ground do not have any connection female or male plug in parts. They are bare black pigtails. And yes one wire shows 2.2 and the other .0 on the dc setting to gd. I guess the juicy wire is batt ?

Was thinking since they come out of the rec in a vertical row of 4 with top 2 being stator wires that someone could just look at a harness and tell me if 3 or 4 is the gd. Thx

DC setting?
On the ohm or resistance setting the negative should show close to zero from the pigtail to the metal heat dissipation ribs.
