Happy that it went well for you Ken, some wind in the face does help the healing process.

For February, 60° is a nice warm day. I seized the afternoon to enjoy some nice riding. I simply went here and there following the general direction of being northwest of Carlisle before winding back towards Mechanicsburg.

Here's one of the barns I saw on my ride in the country.

I put on about 110miles today without any issues with my eye. No prescription glasses needed. I even spotted a rainbow in the clouds.

There are more pics from my ride in My Motorcycle Chronicles.

(Thanks, Paul, for the note.)

Looking rather spring like there. Got a weather warning of 80mph winds for weekend in Lancashire!

Batten Down The Hatches! Stay safe over there...

Tomorrow here - Rain & 20mph winds, with 40mph gusts - No where near 80mph...

Next week is supposed to be in the mid-40's most days -
It'll still be a few more weeks of cold/rain/snow before Spring... Sigh!

I was out riding again in February. It was 55°-60° today with a light wind and getting cloudy in the afternoon. Rain is predicted for overnight & the temps are going down again.

I came across this old bucket wheel trencher. It looks like it's been here for quite awhile. I think a spool of wire or piping would have gone on that spoked wheel in the middle from which it would have been fed into the trench... I think...
