Old post I know.
It sounds like the rulemakers maybe are a bit dated regarding oem-cased builds? 103" was an S&S-combo on the 86- up motors if I remember correct. It was the 89" stroker kit combined with long 3-13/16 cylinders if I remember correct. Odd combo today

I’m surprised some kind of comp eliminator format hasn’t evolved out of this.

Super street was when it first started. Mixed in with hot street. Went one year and then the tears came. They actually separated it and ditched during the second season. Two low turn out classes would rather run separate, I don’t get it, but I enjoy a field that’s full as possible. 3-4 bikes in a class at a race meh

If you setup a class and nobody shows for it, that says something. To not change anything about the class and just expect it to magically grow is insanity. It is what it is.

Just changing the lbs/cuin factor (multiplier) could make a huge difference. As is the only potentially competitive riders are those that weigh 165 lbs max geared up? What does that eliminate? 2/3 of those who might like to enter? That's a fatal flaw that won't self heal.

What does your parts supplier suggest?

A lot of knowledge there.
